My Favorite Images from the Last Year's work on the Illustration course

This could work as a Book Cover design - not sure it was quite right as a poster.

Bounce Bounce Bloomin Bounce
This fulfilled the brief, I can see it as a magazine illustration next to Daisy Waugh's piece about competitive Mothers at a Highland Sports Day.

50's illustration for a Teenager
I could see this within a text book or as a poster looking at elements which affected teenagers in the 1950s

Miles Davis CD Cover
With text and information this might work as a CD Cover Illustration, but I just like the textures.

Lost
This is my favorite image so far... I like the colours and the atmosphere, I could see it as a children's book illlustration perhaps or a magazine illustration.

Discovery
I like this one too - although I am not sure if it sums up the idea of 'Discovery'.

Journey
I was pleased with the atmosphere in this black and white image... it has the fairy tale quality which I like. I could see it as a book illustration as I can the one below.

Book Cover 'Animals of the World'
I am pleased with the drawings and the idea behind this book cover, although I could maybe see it as an animation frame for a CBBC show!

Pepper Collage
Simple idea - could work as a greetings card

Food Colouring Pepper
Could work for a magazine illustration

Instructions
I can see this in a flyer or information pull out.

Instructions
This one was intended as a poster, but with a bit of a rethink could be a fold out.

Autumn Bluster
I could see this as a children's book illustration for a poem or nursery rhyme

Allotment Produce
Possible with a bit of work this could be a greetings card or a design for letterhead or book cover/ cookery book.

book cover
It's a book cover whichever way you look at it.

Jazz Poster
I am pleased with this Jazz Poster
Hot Lady
I think I might prefer this later attempt though

Summer Produce

Autumn Produce
Possibly these two with a better photograph would be greetings cards

Local Shop Sketch
I keep meaning to go and see if the shop Neil's Wheels would like to use this image as a business card image.

Children's book/Poem illustration

Menu Card illustration for Fish Restaurant

James and the Giant Peach
I like this but it is too derivative of Joel Stewart's work (as the exercise demanded) - but I am pleased with it.

Wellies in the rain
again, I can see this as a small illustration technique within poetry books for children

welly boots
Possible Greetings card

boots
Simple study, not sure what it's application could be but I'm quite pleased with it.

boot monoprint
Small illustration style again

boots reductive monoprint
I love the 'film like' quality of this... i can see it as a book cover..

Banana Split
I could see a version of this idea as a magazine illustration - or as a children's character.

Choosing Content
I can imagine this as a book cover illustration or an internal illustration, possibly even a magazine illustration?
